Andy Mathis Art Co.

I began painting with watercolor a few years after vet school.  As a creative outlet.  I was always a crafty kid, wearing out the craft edition, number 9,  of our Childcraft Encyclopedias.

The watercolor medium isn’t as forgiving as some other painting mediums.  And that is part of its appeal.  If I (my over achieving type A personality self) am gonna paint, I want  the hard stuff.  And if I make a mistake, then I just won’t show that painting to anyone. . . .

Does Martha Stewart ever make just plain cake? Noooo, its always fancy cake. Rock on, Martha.

She would like watercolors too.
