If you are on Instagram, then you probably have seen posts where the captions and comments are broken up with a divider line. Most commonly a thick black line. . . Sometimes some other graphic element or icon used to create the divider. It makes it easier to read captions and comments as people skim over them.
I use my iPad for Instagram, and how I make those divider lines is with an app called Symbol Keycode Unicode Icons.
It’s a free app in the App Store. I’m not sure if it is available, or something similar, for Android devices. You might have to research that a bit if you happen to use an Android device.
With the SKUI app, you type out the characters and copy and paste to Instagram. Here’s what it looks like inside the App on my iPad. The icon to make the thick solid black line is circled in red. Search around and you’ll find it.
Here’s an alternative way to create them if you don’t have access to that app. I created several for you. Copy and Paste these somewhere to save them on your phone or tablet. Notes? Evernote? Pages? Word document? whatever works best for you, that you can quickly find later. Then you open that note, etc. to copy and paste into your Instagram posts. You might have to edit, or double paste them to get the width correct depending on your device.
